Responsibilities
Design, refine, and execute a nationwide sales strategy to expand our shippers portfolio, focusing on high‑value, long‑term relationships.
Unrestricted prospecting: pursue leads and markets of your choice, with no assigned territory or lane limitations.
Win, onboard, and nurture shippers accounts, collaborating with operations and carrier teams to ensure top‑tier service and retention.
Set and monitor sales goals, metrics, and pipeline forecasts to support scalability and sustained growth.
Negotiate contracts and pricing, advocating for mutually beneficial agreement terms.
Track market trends and competitive intelligence to inform sales strategy.
Support, coach, and inspire future sales team hires as TruckWise grows.
Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of success in a sales role (management or director‑level encouraged) within freight brokerage or logistics.
Demonstrated achievement in closing and growing shippers accounts at scale.
Self‑motivated, results‑driven, and comfortable operating in a dynamic, startup environment.
Expertise in full truckload, partial, LTL freight solutions.
Superior negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Experience utilizing CRM and sales data analytics for business development.
