Base pay range $17.00/hr – $18.00/hr
Summary Lead Teacher needed for maternity leave in a lively infant classroom, teamwork and collaboration with experienced colleagues, in a small, non‑profit child care center in downtown Brattleboro.
Duties Caring for young infants: feeding, diapering, helping to rest and grow and reach developmental milestones. Complete required paperwork for the classroom. Create projects, schedule routines and plan lessons. Assess and plan developmentally appropriate activities for 2 18‑month‑olds.
Requirements Minimum Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and 1 year experience in a group care environment.
Nice to Haves CPR/First Aid already in hand. Willing to do required professional development per state regulations.
