Registered Respiratory Therapist II (RRT)

at Mint Hill Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.

Schedule : 7pm to 7am | Night Shift | Full-time

What You’ll Do

Act as a patient advocate for the patient and their support system by incorporating education in the interdisciplinary care plan.

Prioritize job duties according to patients' needs and changing acuity levels, ensuring timely completion of care interventions and medical orders.

Administer and evaluate medication therapies, perform patient transfers, and transport patients.

Provide routine respiratory care such as ABGs and bronchial hygiene therapy, while performing higher levels of care in critical care areas and emergent situations.

Demonstrate independence in the specialty of Respiratory Care, practicing according to state requirements and standards.

In critical care settings: manage ventilators, participate in code blue, perform airway management, interpret and intervene with blood gas analysis, and use related protocols for patient care.

Document care in accordance with hospital policy and regulatory requirements.

What We’re Looking For

Education

2‑Year / Associate Degree, required.

4‑Year / Bachelor’s Degree, preferred.

Licensure/Certification

Current RCP licensure in the appropriate state, required.
