Forklift Operator – Stand Up

Westaff is Hiring for Experienced Stand Up Forklift Operators & Order Selectors in Wallingford, CT! Shift:

Sundays 1pm – finish, Monday – Thursday 5pm – finish.

Fridays and Saturdays off!

Pay Rate:

$17 an hour, opportunities to advance

Environment:

must be OK working in a cold environment

Forklift Operator & Order Selector Responsibilities:

Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, and stand‑up lifts

Select and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently

Operate ride‑on pallet jacks and/or order pickers

Load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse

Assist with inventory control and product organization

Follow all safety protocols in a cold‑temperature environment

Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas

Forklift Operator & Order Selector Experience:

Prior warehouse or material handling experience

Order selecting and order processing experience

Experience operating ride‑on pallet jacks or order pickers

Previous forklift certification preferred

Ability to operate Reach Trucks and stand‑up forklifts
