As an LVN with Touchmark, you will enrich lives every day by ensuring residents in our Assisted Living & Memory Care communities receive the highest level of dignity and care. You will have the daily opportunity to distinguish yourself by taking the time to be a positive presence in the lives of residents and their family members.
The ideal candidate will be trustworthy and compassionate, and will:
Must possess an LVN degree from an accredited school of nursing and current state license.
Possess current CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working with older adults in a health care setting; geriatric mental health a plus.
Have computer knowledge and experience with healthcare charting systems.
Have a genuine interest incaring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment.
Must be physically able to traverse the expanse of the campus to give potential residents medications and treatments as necessary.
Enjoy being part of a team, as this personwill work closely with a team of nurses to design and implement care plans foreach resident.
Help oversee the care staff and assist themin making educated care decisions.
Be able to maintain patience and tactfulcomposure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members, andvisitors.
