You will have the daily opportunity to distinguish yourself by taking the time to be a positive presence in the lives of residents and their family members. Responsibilities
Be a positive presence in the lives of residents and their family members. Ensure residents in Assisted Living & Memory Care receive the highest level of dignity and care. Participate in designing and implementing care plans for each resident, working closely with a team of nurses. Help oversee the care staff and assist them in making educated care decisions. Maintain patience and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members, and visitors. Qualifications
Must possess an LVN degree from an accredited school of nursing and current state license. Possess current CPR/AED and First Aid certification. Minimum 1-2 years’ experience working with older adults in a health care setting; geriatric mental health a plus. Have computer knowledge and experience with healthcare charting systems. Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment. Must be physically able to traverse the expanse of the campus to give potential residents medications and treatments as necessary. Enjoy being part of a team; you will work closely with a team of nurses to design and implement care plans for each resident. Benefits
