You will manage a large, complex and varied caseload of babies and children with a wide variety of neurological and neurodevelopmental conditions at locations including The Child Development Centre, homes, nurseries and schools. However, you will be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the overall service as required.

Main duties of the job Provide assessment and therapeutic intervention to patients on caseload with neurological and neurodevelopmental conditions. Provide 24 hour postural management equipment and programmes. Work collaboratively with wider MDT.

Person Specification Experience

Substantial post-graduate experience, including recent experience in the NHS

Previous rotations/ experience within Paediatrics

Recent experience demonstrating ability to assess, treat and evaluate care in paediatrics

Evidence of MDT working

Experience of developing others

Skills

Good communication and organisational skills

Competent in core areas of Physiotherapy practice

Knowledge

Understanding of Information Governance and Confidentiality

Attendance on external post-graduate courses

Qualifications

Degree in Physiotherapy Studies

Must be HCPC registered

Studied at Masters level or equivalent

Member of Special Interest Group eg APCP

Car owner/Driver
