Accountabilities
End to end management of patient hygiene appointments
Educating patients on proper oral health techniques and fostering ownership of personal oral hygiene
Patient screenings, both pre- and post-visit, supporting doctors
Taking X-rays as needed
Necessary Qualifications And Skills
We welcome Certified Hygienists of all experience levels to apply
Active Hygienist License in the state of New York
Warm, compassionate and professional chairside manner
General understanding of standard dental software, including Dexis and Eaglesoft
Excellent communicator — fluent in both English and Spanish
A self-starting team player who can both help when needed and own their work without direct supervision
Preferred Qualifications
Active Dental Hygienist certification in NJ
X-ray certification in NY and/or NJ
Conversant in French Creole
