The Vines Hospital is currently recruiting for a PRN Admissions RN
The Admissions Nurse is
Responsible for performing all aspects of The Vines Hospital’s intake and admission process, including efficient handling of inquiry calls, knowledge of and communication with referral sources; providing hospital and program information to individuals, agencies, facilities, and professionals; making outside referrals when appropriate; assessing and triaging an individual’s mental health status; making patient safety and level of care recommendations to The Vines Hospital’s physician; identifying insurance benefits, pre‑certification of patient care; completing all admission requirements; communicating patient safety concerns and pertinent patient information to unit nursing staff and documenting all necessary information in Med Series 4. The RN will review packets, accept, and admit patients. This position requires a person to work with minimal supervision and will work with all facility units: business office, medical staff, medical records, utilization review, marketing, and nursing.

must be able to adapt and flow to the ever‑changing needs of our patients. The

We are located in picturesque Marion County, FL. The county is known as the Horse Capital of the World. Enjoy the outdoors at one of the county’s serene parks, which includes wonderful hiking trails, river rafting, and tubing. Qualifications Education:
Associate degree in Nursing required. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years experience in the mental health field preferred. Previous assessment experience required.
License:
Licensed in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse required.
Skills : Excellent communication skills. Ability to relate to those emotionally disturbed and in crisis.
