Responsibilities
Monitor and manage closing workflows to ensure timely and accurate loan closings across all regions.
Evaluate current processes for efficiency and compliance; implement improvements to streamline operations.
Track and analyze closing trends, identifying patterns that impact performance and quality.
Gather and act on feedback from internal teams and external partners to enhance closing processes.
Maintain and update closing policies and procedures to reflect regulatory changes and operational needs.
Investigate closing deficiencies through detailed root cause analysis; implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Partner with Post-Closing and Quality Control teams to improve overall loan manufacturing quality and reduce defects.
Work closely with Sales, Operations, and Compliance teams to align closing processes.
Support initiatives that enhance borrower experience and operational efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 7+ years of mortgage industry experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of closing procedures, documentation, and compliance requirements.
Strong sales orientation with the ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams.
Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in mortgage loan origination systems and closing software.
Salary
The expected salary range for this position is $200,000.00 - $230,000.00. The range may vary based on geography.
