About Danger Boat Productions creates innovative and engaging shows, such as The Theater of Public Policy, that entertain and inspire thoughtful conversations about significant ideas and issues. Since its founding in 2011, the company has delivered over 900 live events nationwide, building a reputation for blending humor with meaningful dialogue. The company is growing quickly, with major statewide and national projects already teed up for 2026. DBP is seeking a talented self-starter who can help the organization level up.

Position Overview The Administrative Assistant will provide vital operational and executive support across the organization, ensuring smooth day-to-day functionality while freeing up team members to focus on high-impact work. This role includes traditional administrative responsibilities, project coordination, and direct executive support for Danger Boat co-founder Tane Danger. The ideal candidate will be an organized, resourceful professional who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment

1. Executive & Leadership Support for co-founder Tane Danger

Manage Tane's email inbox: prioritize, filter, draft replies, track follow-ups, and keep folders organized

Handle scheduling, reminders, and task delegation tied to email correspondence

Attend client and internal meetings on Tane's behalf; take clear notes, archive meeting content, and ensure follow-up items are assigned appropriately

Prepare, proof, and finalize correspondence, reports, and other documents

2. Organization-Wide Administrative Support

Provide administrative assistance to other team members as needed

Maintain internal records, filing systems, shared drives, and document templates

Prepare materials for meetings, workshops, and reports

Monitor deadlines and support internal team accountability

3. Office Operations

Coordinate daily operational activities and serve as the hub for organizational logistics

Liaise with vendors, review invoices, and ensure timely payments

Assist with technology, supplies, equipment, and facilities coordination

Process reimbursements, invoices, and financial documentation

4. Meeting Coordination & Communication

Schedule internal and external meetings, including coordination of agendas, locations, technology, and catering as needed

Create and distribute notes, track action items, and ensure follow-ups are completed

Develop and support All-Staff meeting materials and communications

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as executive assistant, office manager, or high level office administrator role

High School Degree

Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite

Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and time-management skills

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to engage effectively with clients, staff, contractors, and external parties

Professional presence and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of experience in program coordination

Bachelor's Degree

Experience working in a B2B industry

Familiarity with project management or CRM tools
