What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Manage day-to-day sales activities and relationships with cabinet and furniture manufacturer accounts in your territory
Conduct face-to-face consultations with new and existing customers to understand their needs and promote Richelieu's Finishing product solutions
Drive growth in your territory through the development of existing relationships and acquisition of new customers
Provide exceptional customer service and position yourself as a one-stop shop for clients
Stay updated on Richelieu's Finishing product offerings and market conditions for informed sales discussions
What is Required (Qualifications)
Technically-minded with experience or education in chemistry/science
Knowledge of wood coatings or powder/spray coatings is essential
Ability to participate in training to understand coatings and finishing products, applications, and methods
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
Background in spray application finishing
Strong analytical, planning, organizing, and monitoring skills
Proven track record of proactive sales techniques and a strong work ethic
