ADMIN ASSISTANT
to support our Cardiology & Vascular Clinic. This is a full‑time, entry‑level position requiring excellent organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Job Summary Performs a variety of clerical duties and projects. Maintains a well‑organized, friendly and informative atmosphere for the Administrative Department. Must be able to multi‑task in a high volume, fast‑paced environment, coordinate and provide administrative support independently, and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
High school graduate; post‑secondary education preferred.
Minimum one year office experience.
Proficiency with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Access.
Experience in positions of trust or confidentiality preferred.
Strong verbal communication skills with the public and staff.
Organized, able to handle multiple tasks, and a good team player.
Results‑oriented perspective with creative and analytical abilities.
Physical Requirements
Normal hospital environment; close eye work.
Normal hearing and ability to distinguish soft tones.
Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing/pulling up to 30 lbs.
Operates computer, typewriter, copier, laminator, calculator, paper cutter, fax machine.
Sitting and standing for long periods of time.
