Why You’ll Love This Position FSH is known for evidence-based treatment and innovative practices. The Recovery and Self-Motivation Program (RSM) serves 75 clients within a high security setting and was overhauled and re-implemented in 2019. The program’s population typically includes clients experiencing psychotic disorders or major mood disorders who may also have a primary or secondary personality disorder. Our primary focus is providing psychiatric rehabilitation through a nurturing and safe environment that fosters recovery. Our ultimate goal is to promote social connection and target prosocial values to help move these individuals toward self-management and reintegration into the community. The Recovery and Self-Motivation Program treats these individuals using a combination of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Prosocial Principles, while incorporating Restorative Justice practices.

What You’ll Do
Lead treatment groups; provide individual therapy and offer case management
Complete needed documentation and conduct/supervise psychological assessments
Add unique expertise to a diverse treatment team
May supervise students, interns and other staff as needed
May be a part of ongoing research at the hospital
Serve as a faculty member in the APA accredited internship
Leadership opportunities are available, as well as the ability to be involved in hospital wide committees
Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate in Psychology
License eligible or licensed as a Psychologist in Missouri
Preferred Qualifications
Training and/or experience with forensic clients within an inpatient setting
Training and/or experience treating individuals diagnosed with psychotic spectrum, mood and personality disorders

Salary: $86,250 - $121,064 annually.
