Summary Position Highlights Manages the Patient Care Transport Services throughout the main Moffitt campus and serves as a resource for development of similar/hybrid roles at satellite facilities. Assures budget oversight, program development, caseload management, scheduling, recruitment/hiring of staff, equipment management, and overall administrative management of the department.
Credentials and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree.
BLS required. (Basic Life Support).
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a healthcare setting with two (2) years transport, patient handling, or EMT and two (2) years’ experience in a leadership/supervisory role.
Knowledge of lifting techniques and ability to teach/train staff in these skills.
Data collection, data management, presentation skills centered around data information.
Preferred Experience
Master’s Degree.
BLS (Basic Life Support) instructor preferred.
