Completion of an Ultrasound program (required).
ARDMS Certification (required).
1-2 years Ultrasonography experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of ultrasound protocols and cross-sectional anatomy.

What You Will Do: Perform ultrasound diagnostic studies according to department protocols while ensuring patient safety, comfort, accuracy, and excellence in imaging quality as part of a multidisciplinary care team.
Essential Job Functions:
Provides advanced technical skills and coordinates patient care activities in assigned ultrasound areas.
Performs ultrasound procedures, positions patients, demonstrates cross-sectional anatomy knowledge, and produces high-quality images.
Prepares rooms, equipment, and patients; practices aseptic technique; evaluates images; and documents electronically.
Communicates effectively with patients, radiologists, physicians, and staff using AIDET.
Supervises or trains ultrasound students as needed.
Ensures regulatory readiness, maintains licensure and CPR, completes education, and performs other duties as assigned.

Experience in interventional radiology to include paracentesis, and thoracentesis preferred.
