About Us The Eye Care Center is one of the most comprehensive eye care facilities in the Finger Lakes Region, with offices in Canandaigua, Macedon, and Geneva. We’re proud to offer a full range of advanced eye care and cosmetic services, typically found only in big cities, right here in our local communities.
Position Overview We are seeking a licensed optician to join our dedicated, patient-focused team to help is assist patients and customers with adjustments and repairs, frame styling, and fitting and dispensing of eye wear. You will work closely with our team of doctors and optical lab, to problem solve vision concerns using a variety of lens and frame options. Experience using a computer point-of-purchase system is a plus.
Responsibilities Assist patients and customers with adjustments and repairs, frame styling, fitting and dispensing of eyewear, and problem‑solving vision concerns using a variety of lens and frame options.
Qualifications If you have experience in healthcare, pharmacy work, or even just working in a fast‑paced environment, and would like to learn more, please apply. Computer and customer service skills are a must! Training is provided onsite for the right candidates.
Locations This position is based at our Canandaigua location for training. After training is complete, the position includes 3 days in Geneva location and 2 days in Canandaigua location. Flexibility to travel between all offices as needed may be required after training.
Compensation and Benefits Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
