Phlebotomist – Full Time Contract
Location: Wheat Ridge, CO 80033 (onsite). Duration: 2 months. Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm MST.
Responsibilities
Draw quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing following established practices and procedures.
Maintain direct contact with patients, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures.
Verify patient demographic information and initials, obtain patient signature post‑venipuncture, and ensure tubes are correctly labeled in the patient’s presence.
Maintain required records and documentation.
Qualifications
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.
Experience:
1–3 years phlebotomy experience (inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections) required. 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred. Customer service experience in retail or service settings highly preferred. Keyboard/data‑entry experience desired.
Compensation & Benefits
Pay Rate: $20–$24.00 per hour.
