Job Description Title:

Maintenance Technician

Location:

Aurora, OH

Reports To:

Maintenance Supervisor

Responsibilities

Completes maintenance and repair of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems

Identifies and resolves equipment malfunctions related to downtime, scrap, and performance

Monitors spare parts inventories and makes recommendations to assure availability

Troubleshoots and AC / DC motor drives

Completes assigned work orders in a timely manner

Records preventative maintenance and repair data using computer based systems

Identifies parts and materials required for repairs and arranges procurement

Informs appropriate parties of and coordinates maintenance needs to minimize downtime

Maintains safe and clean work environment

Observes all Plant procedures, policies, and guidelines

Performs other duties as required

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

5+ years’ experience or equivalent education in Industrial Maintenance

PLC troubleshooting experience highly preferred; Allen Bradley and Siemens knowledge desired

Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Ability to lift, push, pull or carry up to 50 pounds repetitively

Ability to stand, walk, reach, stoop, and/or kneel continuously

Availability to work overtime, extended shifts, weekends, and/or holidays as scheduled

Willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)

Good verbal, writing, and math skills

Ability to work collaboratively with others
