IMMEDIATE OPENING for Registered Behavior Tech
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a 22-year-old female with Autism
Position Overview Implement evidence‑based behavior‑analytic interventions while assisting her with daily living skills, schoolwork, and community engagement. You'll split your time between structured ABA sessions and hands‑on caregiving. The ideal candidate should have experience with autism, demonstrate patience, and possess the skills necessary to support the individual's functional independence.
Hours Monday through Friday: AM & PM schedules available Weekends: Flexible for community outings
Salary Range $16.00 per hour
Total Hours Minimum of 20 hours per week, with the potential for up to 40 hours per week.
Duties & Responsibilities Personal Care: Assist with grooming, hygiene, and hair care. Domestic Assistance: Teach and assist with cooking, cleaning, and laundry. Health and Safety Care: Remind and assist with medications and physical exercises. Documentation: Accurately record daily progress according to the service plan and IEP. Community Assistance: Facilitate community engagement and social activities. Communication: Maintain open communication with the agency regarding any client or family concerns. Support: Encourage and support the client's growth and development at home and in the community.
Requirements RBT certification or equivalent 1+ year experience with adults on the autism/ADHD spectrum Strong communication and de‑escalation skills Reliable transportation and a smartphone for check‑ins
Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old. Ability to read and write in English. A valid Georgia driver's license and auto insurance are required. CPR & First Aid Certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross. Current TB test.
