Expected to work Thursday through Sunday, with shifts from 7 AM to 7:30 PM and 8 AM to 4:30 PM on weekdays.
Job Description
The Hospice Registered Nurse provides comprehensive end-of-life care for terminally ill patients, focusing on symptom management, medication administration, and family education. The role involves working both in a home setting and in an inpatient hospice facility, with an emphasis on compassionate care and effective communication with patients and their families. Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans. Manage complex symptom relief and provide education on end-of-life care. Administer medications via various routes, including IV, subcutaneous, and oral. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to facilitate goals of care discussions. Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and families dealing with terminal illness. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
A minimum of 3 years of prior community hospice experience. Current BLS certification required. Strong typing skills for narrative heavy EMR documentation. Previous experience with pain management and critical thinking in patient care. Why ARMStaffing?
