Nursing Position - Full Time Home Care - Nights, Michigan
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule This position requires a night shift from 4:30 PM to 8:00 AM, working 7 days on followed by 7 days off. The role is a hybrid of scheduled visits and on‑call duties.
Job Description The Nursing Position in Home Care involves implementing a full‑time professional nursing service to patients in their homes under the supervision of the Clinical Services Supervisor, in accordance with agency standards and policies.
Responsibilities
Initiate and provide medically prescribed skilled nursing care and health counseling.
Assess the patient's physical and emotional status and needs during the initial visit.
Prepare the nursing plan of care based on the assessment and physician’s treatment plan.
Provide patient teaching utilizing the Care Plan/Standard of Care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
2+ years of hospice experience (required)
Home care experience (required)
OASIS experience (preferred)
BLS certification (AHA)
