Position Summary The Postdoctoral Fellow for the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology will be responsible for studying the biochemical and molecular mechanisms underlying the regulations of the p53‑MDM2 loop, mutant p53s, and the c‑Myc pathway in response to various signals and to identify small molecules that can suppress tumor growth by re‑activating p53 activity or suppressing c‑Myc activity in human cancer cells and mouse tumor model systems including genetically manipulated mouse models, such as p53‑null, MDM2‑C305/MDM4‑3SA double knock‑in, CCDC3‑null, TA‑p63‑null, PHLDB3‑null, and p53‑R249S knock‑in mouse models.
