Position
Immediate opening for a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver at Ryder in East Syracuse, NY.

Pay and Benefits
$1,536 or more per week. Weekly pay based on driver positions and daily trip pay of $768.31 per trip (2 trips per week, with occasional additional trips).
Per diem pay of $26.52 per night with 2 nights per week.
Overnights booked in Ryder hotels.
Sign‑on bonus: $1,000 at 30 days and $1,000 at 90 days.
Paid training.
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. Start time 6:00 am.
Uniform, cell phone, and boot allowance provided.
Paid personal time off starting Day 1 (80 hours accrued in first year). If you decide not to use it, you’ll be paid the remaining balance at your hourly pay rate.
Medical, dental, and vision coverage start at 30 days.
12 weeks of paid maternity leave for qualifying employees.

Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs.
Load and unload freight or assist in loading/unloading if required by customer.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum 21 years of age.
Pass a Ryder drug test.
Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
Pass a DOT physical.
Pass a Ryder road test.
Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position (Class A).
Class A verifiable experience: 9 months within the past 3 years, or 2 years within the last 5 years, or 5 years within the last 10 years.
Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Additional Information Deliver to NY, PA, MA, NH, and ME.
Tractor type: Day Cab. Trailer type: Dry Van 53’.
