Job Summary To assist the head coach in the selection, instruction, training, and conditioning of all athletes/teams assigned to him/her by the head coach. Northfield Schools, the Principal, and the Athletics/Activities Director place an expectation not only on the skills, abilities, and commitments of its coaches but also on their integrity and collective common sense in performing their duties.
Location & Schedule Location: High School Scheduled Hours/days: 2-3 hours/day, 5-6 days/week Stipend: $4,524 plus Years of Experience Pay if applicable.

Qualifications
Candidate will have played, competed or coached the sport or activity at the high school or college level.
Candidate will also complete all Northfield and MSHSL professional development requirements.
Responsibilities
Demonstrate and generate among staff players an attitude of good sportsmanship and fair play by adhering to the Coach's Code of Ethics.
Know and administer the policies, procedures, and guidelines set forth in the Coaches' Handbook, Conference, and policies for your sport and supervise assistant coaches in carrying out the same as they apply to your assignment.
Carry out responsibilities as designated by the head coach.
Provide for the health, safety, and well-being of team members.
Actively work to create a culture free from hazing and initiations.
Adhere to the starting and ending dates for your sport.
Be aware of all MSHSL rules that would pertain to you and your sport.
