Minuteman Food Mart Assistant Store Leader Job Title: Assistant Store Leader Report To: Store Leader Open Interviews Daily - Monday through Friday, 10:00am - 2:00pm. Responsibilities
Responsible for all areas of operations of the store in the Store Leader’s absence, including Guest Service, Profit and Loss, Human Resources, and all other store functions. Perform specific tasks as assigned by the Store Leader. Assist the Store Leader in maintaining Minuteman Food Mart standards. Adhere to all Government ABC and Tobacco regulations. Provide outstanding guest service by setting a good example for employees and ensuring this is reflected by all staff at all times. Ensure the Store Leader is aware of all sales, cash, and operating discrepancies. Follow proper clocking in and out procedures through the company computer. Work with the entire staff to strive for 100% on all branded Mystery Shops. Maintain store operations in line with merchandising and maintenance standards. Qualifications
Some management experience preferred. Previous retail experience. High School Diploma or GED. Able to work well with others. Good attention to detail. Good communication. Analytical and reasoning skills. Customer service oriented. Must know the company motto. Merchandising
Utilize suggested selling techniques with guests. Ensure all store equipment, including fountain, coffee, and food service areas, is properly maintained. Keep cooler, store shelves, and displays clean, fully stocked, and fronted. Immediately notify the Store Leader of any maintenance problems. Work Schedule
Assistant Store Leader will be scheduled for three second shifts and two first shifts. The second shift will have a member of management on both shifts. The two-day shifts will be the days that the manager is off, and the assistant will assume Store Leader tasks for those days. Seniority level
