R-94954We are currently seeking experienced safety-conscious ****Equipment Operators**** to join the team at **Heart of Florida Landfill in Lake Panasoffkee, FL**. Previous landfill or waste experience would be a huge *plus*, but willing to train the right candidate.*Th***e p*osition is a Day Shift working Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays working 45-55 hours a week. Pay Range for this position is $24-$26+ DOE.*****DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:***** Perform Maintenance around the site and facilities as needed* Spreading and compacting trash using a Compactor* Spreading daily cover using a Dozer* Excavating soil using an Excavator* Hauling soil**W**ORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL EFFORT:***** The work environment is an outdoor landfill setting. The employee will work near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and vibrations. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
