RECEPTIONIST - PART -TIME Position Summary For over 40 years , North Hill, a not-for-profit senior living community located in Needham, Massachusetts, has provided vibrant living opportunities to people 65+ by offering a host of hospitality, wellness and health care services. This position is responsible for greeting, assisting and providing direction to all Residents, guests, Team Members and visitors to North Hill.
Job Specific Duties Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Greets all Residents, Team Members, and guests in a professional manner and directs to the appropriate location, serving as the initial contact and resource for the community
Answers incoming telephone calls in a cheerful manner, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department
Performs all duties and responsibilities with a positive attitude
Receives inquiries and releases information in accordance with established policies and procedures
Assists with screening and registering visitors to the community
Notifies appropriate personnel if suspicious behavior is observed
Assists with the processing of work-orders for Residents. Ensures that the information is communicated to correct department
Maintains Campus Calendar Production and Distribution
Maintains and sorts assigned mail for the mailroom
Supports guest room reservation system and check-ins
Assists with scheduling Resident transportation to include doctor’s visits and events
Deliver a memorable first impression of hospitality
Maintains a high-level of communication and feedback to ensure all information is passed on in a timely manner
Communicates any challenges, complaints or service difficulties to immediate supervisor
Meets department uniform, appearance and grooming requirements
Complies with all OSHA safety regulations, local applicable laws regarding health, safety or environment
Education and Experience
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in guests services preferred
Strong communication skills with an outgoing personality and willingness to engage with Residents

Pay Range: $20/hour
