Overview Esse Health is looking for a part‑time Nurse Practitioner for our Allergy and Asthma Institute located on Tesson Ferry in South County.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care, including advanced assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Prepare and manage allergen immunotherapy extracts.

Offer individual and group health education.

Work under the supervision and direction of a physician and represent Esse Health in patient and community encounters.

Promote the practice in all communications.

Schedule 2–3 days per week with the ability/desire to pick up extra cover days for vacations.

Required Qualifications

Focus/specialty: Family/individual across the lifespan (FNP).

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree of Science in Nursing.

Missouri Registered Professional Nursing license.

Board certified or board eligible for certification by the National Certification Board of Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioners and Nurses, or American Nurses Association.

Knowledge of adult health issues, including normal vs. abnormal physical findings and diagnostic test results.

Skills in physical examination and developmental screening.

Professional interaction with patients, families, other health‑care providers, and community members.

Experience in health‑care research (desired).
