We are seeking a Project Manager in our
Aberdeen, MD
office. The ideal candidate will be dependable, enthusiastic, detail‑oriented, and able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
Assignments include management of construction materials testing services for commercial and residential land development projects. Key duties are to manage, coordinate, supervise, review, and direct technician staff for earthwork, concrete, foundation, masonry, steel, EIFS, and pavement construction testing; prepare and submit bids and proposals; attend pre‑bid meetings; perform on‑site inspections (soil bearing, compaction, concrete, steel, etc.); meet with clients; and attend site meetings as necessary.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or geology is preferred.
3–5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering or construction project management.
Registered professional engineer preferred but not required.
Experience managing construction projects of varying size.
Experience estimating, specifically determining labor requirements for various types of construction projects.
Business development experience a plus; must be able to interact and communicate with clients.
Experience managing construction staff a plus.
Specialty construction testing certifications a plus.
Perform other duties as required to assist the Branch Manager in running a successful operation.
