Event Project Manager – Pro-Play Games Pro-Play Games is seeking an experienced and driven Event Project Manager to oversee the planning and execution of high‑profile trading card game tournaments and convention experiences across North and Latin America.

This role requires strong leadership, logistical expertise, and a deep understanding of the TCG or esports community. The ideal candidate is passionate about live events, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and is ready to help shape the future of competitive play.

Base Pay Range $65,000.00/yr – $90,000.00/yr

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Lead the end‑to‑end execution of major tabletop events and tournaments, ensuring exceptional player and partner experiences

Manage staffing, schedules, and logistics for multi‑day regional and national events

Coordinate with IP holders, publishers, and convention partners to meet brand and competitive guidelines

Oversee budget tracking, vendor contracts, and post‑event reporting

Develop floor plans, tournament structures, and prize support strategies tailored to each event

Provide on‑site leadership at key events, managing staff and resolving issues in real time

Support team development and training across event staff and judges

Contribute to future season planning, scaling, and continuous improvement strategies

Requirements

5+ years of experience in live event production, esports, or organized play operations

2+ years of experience managing people or cross‑functional teams

Strong knowledge of trading card games and tournament ecosystems (Pokémon, Magic, Yu‑Gi‑Oh!, Disney Lorcana, etc.)

Proven experience managing large‑scale event logistics and budgets

Excellent communication, leadership, and time‑management skills

Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides); knowledge of event design tools is a plus

Ability to travel domestically and internationally (~25%) and work weekends

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and adapt quickly to changing event conditions

Bilingual (English + Spanish/Portuguese) a strong plus
