We are seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our busy private Plastic Surgery Practice in Bellevue, WA. This is a great opportunity to grow your knowledge and to become a vital part of our team!
Hiring immediately – This job requires experience with front and back operation of a medical clinic. The Medical Assistant assists physicians, other providers, and the rest of the team in delivering patient care. The Medical Assistant acts as a patient care coordinator and advocate, maintains clinical supplies, maintains proper documentation, assures an optimal patient flow and experience, and follows OSHA/HIPAA compliance and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications · Certified Medical Assistant (Required) · 2 years’ experience in a medical office (Preferred) · Proficient in computer skills · Ability to work dynamically in a team · Work independently and efficiently in a busy environment · Patient and friendly personality · Detail oriented · Interfaces well with staff, physicians, patients, and their families · Problem solving skills Responsibilities: · Acts as scribe and chaperone during surgical consults with the Plastic Surgeon · Participates in post-operative care · Works directly with Plastic Surgeon · Assists in all aspects of providing direct patient care · Obtaining vitals · Chart all vital information in EMR as well as check to be sure all information related to medication, health history and reason for visit is obtained and documented · Stock supplies and clean exam and procedure rooms · Communicate with patients and direct questions to appropriate staff member · Assist and take notes in consults, injection appointments and other treatments · Report test results to patients as indicated by physician in a timely manner · Assist patients with online portal access · Assist providers with in-clinic procedures · Coordinate care and diagnostic testing at other facilities as indicated by physician · Assist with surgery scheduling · Accomplish other front office tasks such as records filing, faxing, opening mail, etc. · Collect payment · Help with basic housekeeping tasks such as laundry and staff lounge, etc. · Complete duties as directed by supervisor
