With our network of more than 80 manufacturing facilities and more than 4,000 employees, were leading the industry with innovation and a safety-first mindset./ph3Job Summary/h3pThe Production Assistant will perform a variety of general office and accounting activities by performing the following duties personally or through collaboration with other company personnel./ph3Job Responsibilities/h3ulliSupport operations by assisting staff, planning, organizing and implementing administrative systems/liliAssist in plant tours and greet customers and visitors as needed/liliAssist in writing and updating production and safety SOPs and VOPs/liliAssist in reviewing BOMs for accuracy, update as needed/liliRun daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports for review with Production and Plant Manager/liliAssist in continuous improvement plant initiatives/liliAssist in creating and receiving POs from vendors/suppliers and communicate lead times/liliAssist in reconciling production reporting and actual attainment/liliOpen new vendors via ticket system/Change vendors/liliAssist in setting up and performing cycle counts for inventory management/liliBackup/assistance for production scheduling/liliPropose and assist in implementing office process improvements as identified/liliOther duties as assigned/li/ulh3Job Requirements/h3ulliHigh School, GED, or Associate degree or equivalent combination of administrative experience, training or education (preferred)/liliExperience with ERP systems, SAP preferred/liliKnowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, scheduling, production methods and coordination of people and resources/liliComputer skills, including MS Office Suite, accounting software, database software, and internet software/liliMust be able to multitask, be detailed oriented and possess strong organization skills/liliMust communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company/liliBasic math skills, including percentages, ratios, decimals/liliAbility to sit for extended periods of time, performing sedentary work.
