divh2HR Generalist/h2pNephi, UT, US, 84648/ppOldcastle APG (Fence, Rail, Deck)/ppThe HR Generalist will provide professional human resources services to employees and managers to ensure consistent application of policies and effective management of the organizations human resources within its business objectives. Under general guidance of the HR Manager, you will provide administration of human resources policies and programs focusing on recruitment, affirmative action, compensation, training and employee relations. Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and other applicable Federal, State and local regulations./ppThis is an onsite role based in Nephi, UT with travel to our Orem, UT site./ph3Job Responsibilities/h3ulliAnswer, assist, and field employee questions as they relate to benefits, payroll, wellness, etc./liliMaintain time and attendance records for payroll processing/liliEnsure that HR programs and systems are compliant with federal, state, and local laws/liliAssist with Workers Compensation, Short Term Disability (FMLA), and other HR programs as needed/liliAssists in all aspects of recruitment where necessary, including sourcing, new hire documents and scheduling pre-employment screenings and orientation times/dates/liliConduct new hire orientation/liliMaintain employee personnel records/liliProvide employee relations and conflict resolution services to staff and management to provide consistent treatment and minimize litigation potential/liliAssist with organizational development and human resources (i.e., diversity, sexual harassment, etc.) training of staff and management/liliRecommend, implement, and monitor appropriate regional human resources policies and practices to ensure compliance, increase employee satisfaction and reduce turnover/liliUse HRIS software to obtain and analyze human resources data and provide appropriate reports/liliBuild and maintain relationships that foster trust, commitment, and teamwork/liliInteract with staff and all other company employees in a prompt, efficient, and professional manner to facilitate issue resolution/liliExercise discretion and independent judgment to perform HR responsibilities/liliAdhere to the highest degree of professional standards and strict confidentiality on matters that require discretion/liliAssist HR Manager in administration of annual performance review program/liliPerform other job-related duties as necessary/li/ulh3Job Requirements/h3ulliBachelors degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent in related work experience/lili2+ years of experience in Human Resources Management (experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred)/liliKnowledge of federal and local employment laws as well as ability to research laws for other states/liliAbility to work well individually, as well as part of a team/liliExcellent interpersonal and customer service skills/liliAbility to adhere to strict confidentiality/liliMust be detail oriented/liliTeam player with a strong and positive attitude/liliAdvanced PC skills with proficiency in MS Office including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint/liliStrong verbal and written communication skills.
