divh2Manufacturing Technician 2/h2pWe are currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician 2 to join our production team in Goleta, CA. This full-time, first-shift position plays a key role in layup and panel fabrication activities, working closely with engineering to support setup, calibration, rework, and quality assurance operations. Ideal candidates are hands-on, detail-oriented individuals with experience in composite materials and a strong mechanical aptitude./ppKey Responsibilities:/pulliSupport all manufacturing operations including part layup, bonding, fabrication, and sub-assembly builds./liliCollaborate with engineers to perform setup, calibration, and process optimization./liliConduct rework and quality testing of manufactured components./liliOperate data collection and evaluation tools for in-line product adjustments./liliParticipate in tooling preparation and apply release agents as needed./liliPerform bonding of composite structures to metal fittings using adhesives./liliTrack adhesive material usage, pot life, out-time, and traceability per process guidelines./liliRead and interpret manufacturing blueprints, shop planning, and work instructions./liliUse measurement tools including calipers, rulers, and tape measures for accurate fabrication./liliAssist with experiments and prototyping as directed by engineering teams./liliMaintain workspace cleanliness and support general shop upkeep./li/ulpBasic Qualifications:/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent, and/or 3 years of related education or experience./liliU.S. Citizenship required./liliStrong attention to detail and quality./liliAbility to work under limited supervision and within a collaborative team./liliPhysically able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds./liliAbility to stand for up to 8+ hours daily./liliWillingness to work overtime and weekends when required./li/ulpPreferred Qualifications:/pulliPrior experience in composites manufacturing or aerospace/space structure fabrication./liliDemonstrated mechanical skills and hands-on fabrication experience./liliProficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings./liliKnowledge of ISO standards and manufacturing compliance practices./liliFamiliarity with cranes, rigging, and forklift operations./liliBasic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel./liliAbility to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment./liliSelf-motivated, adaptable, and committed to excellence in workmanship./li/ul/div
