divh2Manufacturing Technician/h2pJoin Spherions team as a Manufacturing Technician. Position will assist our chemistry and engineering group in the development and production. This laboratory-based position involves working on the final stages of the assembly process. The primary responsibilities of this position will be to assist in the production team and to carry out experiments and analysis./ppWorking hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM/ppResponsibilities:/pulliFollow SOPs and work instructions to support the production and development programs./liliSystematically improve upon existing processes through thoughtful experimentation to generate knowledge and optimize the performance./liliPerform final stages of production./liliUnderstand and document lab-scale processing and work with the team to characterize materials and evaluate failure mechanisms, document the findings in reports./liliEffectively communicate ideas and results internally across multiple teams./liliDemonstrated ability to work effectively within a dynamic team. Understand the practical use of statistical tools and data analysis/reporting software./liliAssess safety and environmental impact of equipment and processes./liliEnsure all aspects of an operation or process meet specified regulations./liliDevelop or optimize processes in order to meet product specifications./liliBe able to operate, clean, and maintain all work-related process equipment and instrumentation./liliPractice 5S methodology for shared workspace./liliCommitted to continuous learning and self-improvement./li/ulpSkills:/pulliHigh School Diploma or higher/liliHands-on experience with instrument maintenance and troubleshooting./liliExperience in quality control methods used to evaluate the repeatability of assembly processes is desirable, not required./liliAptitude for quickly mastering new technologies and self-improvement./liliProactive problem-solving driven by curiosity and attention to detail./liliExceptional communication skills and collaboration abilities./liliStrong data analysis and data-driven experimental-design skills./liliKnowledge of chemistry (organic, polymer, inorganic), electrochemistry and materials science and related characterization techniques would be preferable./li/ulpEducation: High School/ppExperience: 1-4 years/ppQualifications: 2-3 years of warehouse or manufacturing experience.
