About the job The Trading Analyst plays a critical role in supporting the firm’s investment operations and portfolio management activities. This position is responsible for portfolio trading and execution, money movement, model analysis, and portfolio reporting, while closely monitoring portfolio performance and risk exposures. The Trading Analyst will also support back‑office operational processes and actively utilize portfolio management and trading systems to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Acting independently within established investment policy guidelines, this role requires strong analytical judgment and the ability to manage complex portfolios in a fast‑paced, detail‑oriented environment.
Specific Role Responsibilities
Manage daily trading activity (Equities, ETFs and Fixed Income) and account maintenance, following investment policies/guidelines and within designated portfolio models
Execution of complex investment strategies using advanced rebalancing software
Monitor cash balances and drift reports of managed portfolios
Maintain accurate portfolio accounting for all clients and accounts and trading system across all areas of the firm
Ensure smooth account transition process and accurate implementation of investment decisions, working closely with various internal departments
Monitor cash balances and drift reports of managed portfolios
Work in partnership to support internal departments and committees
Assist with report generation
Ensure compliance with FINRA, SEC and other governing entities, as well as internal compliance policies and procedures
Desired Experience
Bachelors Degree in Finance or Economics preferred
1-3 years’ experience required
Previous experience as a Trading Analyst and/or extensive industry experience preferred
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
High attention to detail
Ability to work well, under pressure in a fast‑paced environment
Self‑motivated and proactive team player
