ABOUT THE ROLE
Full-service hospitalist practice at University of Maryland (UM) Upper Chesapeake Health locations in Bel Air and Aberdeen
Part of the University of Maryland Medical System
University hospital with excellent specialty support
Average 15 patients/day
Closed ICU, our team is not expected to perform procedures or run codes
Staffing Model: 23 providers; 12 physicians/11 APPs

Trauma Level – Level II
Graduate of an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
Responsibilities include providing acute inpatient care within the hospital setting, including admitting patients, performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, performing evening hospital rounds and cross coverage of patients on service. Our Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners work side by side with our physicians as clinical colleagues.

BE/BC in Internal Medicine
Strong inpatient skill set
Quality-focused team player
Experience working with advanced practice providers
Excellent organizational, time management andproblem-solving skills
Ability to function effectively as part of amulti-disciplinary team
Effective oral and written communication skills
Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
Active (state) license, American Heart AssociationCPR Certification, DEA License, state Controlled Substance Registration,ACLS
Salary Range: $265,500k - $305k
