We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead aerial and underground fiber construction projects in the Las Cruces area. This role requires a strong, organized leader who can manage field operations, coordinate crews and subcontractors, and ensure projects are delivered safely, accurately, and on schedule. If you have a solid background in telecommunications construction and a track record of running efficient, high‑quality projects, we want to speak with you. Role Responsibilities
Lead daily field operations, including safety, traffic control, DOT compliance, damage mitigation, and fleet coordination. Build and maintain project schedules, allocate resources, and keep all stakeholders informed of progress. Serve as the main point of contact for construction updates and customer expectations. Identify issues early and implement effective solutions to keep projects moving. Manage reporting requirements, review invoicing, and ensure accurate As‑Built documentation. Uphold company standards, regulatory requirements, and client specifications. Qualifications
3–5+ years of experience as a Project Manager or Construction Manager in telecommunications or a related field. High school diploma (required); associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, telecommunications, or a related field (preferred). Relevant certifications such as OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR, NCTI, FOA Fiber Optic, or SCTE (preferred). Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass a background check. Technical Background
Solid understanding of fiber architecture. Experience with aerial and underground construction materials, equipment, and processes. Knowledge of drilling, plowing, trenching, missile operations, and restoration. Familiarity with fiber splicing workflows and documentation. Ability to interpret project data and make informed decisions. Experience managing employees and subcontractors in the field. What Makes You a Good Fit
