Licensed Practical Nurse (Part-Time, Florida)
Job Summary We’re hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a part-time, fully remote opportunity supporting patients across Florida. In this role, you’ll provide virtual clinical care, patient education, and documentation support as part of an integrated telehealth team. Job Responsibilities Provide telephonic or video-based clinical support to patients and families across a range of health concerns
Document patient encounters, progress notes, and medication adherence in the electronic health record (EHR)
Educate patients and caregivers on medications, care plans, and chronic condition management
Monitor and triage patient issues, escalating concerns to RN or provider as needed
Follow Florida Board of Nursing scope of practice for LPNs in telehealth roles
Support care coordination activities such as appointment scheduling, referrals, and follow-up outreach
Maintain HIPAA-compliant practices in all remote workflows
Required Qualifications Active Florida LPN license in good standing
Graduate of an approved / accredited LPN program
Reside in Florida with the ability to work from home in a private, secure environment
Proficient in electronic documentation, professional communication, and patient-centered virtual care
Preferred Qualifications 1+ year experience in a clinical or care coordination role (preferred but not required)
Experience with remote patient monitoring, care navigation, or home health
Familiarity with EHR systems and HIPAA-compliant virtual care platforms
Work Environment & Schedule Part-time
100% Remote – this is a telecommute / work-from-home position
Must reside in Florida and maintain licensure in the state
Reliable internet connection and secure, quiet home workspace required
Location Remote – Florida residents only.
This is a fully remote role, but due to licensing and compliance regulations, candidates must live in the state of Florida and hold a valid Florida LPN license.
