Supplier Relationship Manager (SRM) Project Lead – Lockheed Martin Space
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead supply chain supplier strategy and execution for Lockheed Martin Space. The role is based onsite and requires a US citizen with a current or potential TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with and coordinate across Line of Business (LOB) Mission Segments supplier strategy leads.
Synthesize and analyze data from multiple sources to create a comprehensive view of supplier performance and strategic elements.
Develop impactful supplier strategies to recommend to SRM Champions.
Create supplier summaries and talking points for executive engagement.
Communicate recommended strategies to SRM Champions.
Assess effectiveness of strategies and recommend adjustments.
Drive strategic initiatives for assigned suppliers on behalf of SRM Champion & GSC VP.
Partner with Corporate SRM Leads to integrate Space SRM strategies into Enterprise SRM strategies.
Collaborate across business areas and Corporate SRM Leads to drive enterprise actions at the Space level.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or equivalent experience/education.
Minimum 8 years of professional experience in supply chain management, procurement, subcontract administration, program management, engineering, or related fields.
Experience in crafting and executing strategic plans.
US citizenship and ability to maintain a current US DoD TS/SCI with Poly clearance; must pass drug and background checks for access to classified information.
Desired Skills
Solid understanding of Lockheed Martin’s global supply chain operations and subcontract program management principles.
Broad knowledge of LM Space’s line of business portfolios, products, suppliers, and customers.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships, drive results, and self‑motivate.
Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, including executives.
Benefits & Compensation Annual base salary range in key markets: $122,900 – $216,660. The overall compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, employee assistance, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, holidays, and incentive plan eligibility.
Work Schedules & Location Onsite full‑time at a Lockheed Martin facility. Schedule options include a 9x80 structure with every other Friday off.
