Oncology Physician’s Assistant

in

Sevierville, Oak Ridge, and Knoxville, TN .

This is an

on-site, full-time

position.

Pay:

$93,000 — $120,000 annually

Permanent

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday — Friday (may include hospital rounds or occasional coverage as required)

Primary Responsibilities Provide comprehensive cancer care to hematology-oncology patients in collaboration with supervising physicians. Triages calls from patients, physicians, hospitals, and home health agencies requiring medical intervention. Performs patient evaluations, manages acute problems, and addresses chemotherapy side effects and oncologic emergencies. Provides pre-treatment chemotherapy education to patients and families. Assists with preparation, administration, and supervision of chemotherapy and office medical procedures as needed. Documents patient history, assessments, and plans of care in the medical record accurately. Collaborates with physicians and other medical specialties to adjust plans of care and review medical protocols. Serves as a resource for office staff and participates in committees pertinent to oncology. Responds to infusion-related emergencies and assists with inpatient hospital rounds as required.

Qualifications Licensed Physician Assistant in Tennessee (TN Board of Medical Examiners) CPR certification required Oncology experience preferred Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills

Pay Details $93,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
