Overview
The City of Huntsville’s Landscape Management Department is inviting qualified applicants to join as Landscape Maintenance Workers. The role involves maintaining public grounds, parking facilities, parks, alleys, easements, and highways. Responsibilities include operating small to medium equipment, trucks, farm tractors, mowers, and performing preventive maintenance and minor repairs. Work Hours and Shifts
Positions are 4‑10 hour shifts: Monday‑Thursday 6:00 am‑4:00 pm or Tuesday‑Friday 6:00 am‑4:00 pm. Responsibilities
Operate small to medium equipment, trucks, and farm tractors. Perform a wide variety of grounds and parking facility maintenance tasks. Schedule and perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on equipment. Qualifications
Valid driver’s license required. Class B CDL desirable. Experience in grounds maintenance or construction work, or experience driving a truck, tractor, or mower. Benefits Summary
