Westaff has an immediate opening for an experience Production Tech for an amazing facility in South Baton Rouge. Pay: $17.00-19.00 per hour, depending on experience — MUST have experience. Shift: Monday – Friday, 8-5 Overall duties: Assists in the production of cosmetically, over-the-counter drug, and other similar products Retrieving bulk materials Weighing out and/or measuring the ingredients Inspecting the equipment and utensils to be used to ensure their cleanliness and taking all appropriate actions to correct any deficiencies found before the operation begins. Setting machine speeds, temperatures, cycles and other operating parameters of the equipment to be used in the operation. Placing the ingredients into the equipment in the sequence and manner Starting and tending the equipment during the manufacturing process, Draining manufactured product into other equipment or into storage tanks. Sampling manufactured product and sending samples to the Quality Control Unit for analyses. Cleaning the equipment and utensils used in preparation for subsequent use.
