Westaff has an urgent need for a Shop Helper for a busy machine shop in South Baton Rouge.
This is a temp to hire position, overtime is required.
Must be on time daily for safety meeting.
Overall duties:
General labor and clean up of the shop. Labor intensive, sweeping up machine shreds (aluminium). Must wear gloves, mask and safety glasses. Willing to blast parts with a sandblaster in an industrial blast room, as well as paint pumps with an industrial paint sprayer. Safety top of mind!
Will train but must have a “will do” attitude.
