Position Title: Retail Merchandising Specialist (Oakley / Essilor Luxottica)
Location: New York, NY 10018
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM EST
Work Type: Temp (6 months), preferably onsite; remote considered for NY-local candidates (training & equipment pickup onsite)
Start: Immediate
Pay Rate: $36/hr
Role Summary The Retail Merchandising Specialist supports Oakley retail initiatives across Apparel, Footwear, Accessories (AFA), and Eyewear. This role focuses on product allocation, reporting, visual merchandising support, and cross-team coordination to ensure successful product launches and retail execution.
Key Responsibilities
Support AFA and Eyewear product launches from planning through post-launch analysis
Define product quantities and allocation strategies by store
Create and manage purchase orders and master data requests
Coordinate product movements with Distribution Centers
Develop clear store communications, presentations, and VM guides
Track sales performance, campaign results, and inventory activity
Produce weekly/monthly reports and assist with markdown and end-of-season analysis
Handle ad-hoc store and field requests related to inventory and events
