We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Retail Merchandising Specialist for Oakley Retail to support the execution of AFA (Apparel, Footwear, Accessories) and Eyewear initiatives within the Retail merchandising (product and visual merchandising) department. This role involves managing product allocation, data analysis and communication across multiple stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Special projects end to end process:
Define product quantities and propose allocation strategies by store
Create and manage AFA master data tickets and purchase orders
Coordinate manual pushes and communication with Distribution Centers
Prepare PowerPoint presentations for stores, including project rationale, product descriptions, selling points, and VM guidelines
Develop and distribute store communication documents
Monitor and report on project performance post‑launch
Create VM guides for AFA drops and analyze performance
Support with training material creation for stores
Manage field request and ad‑hoc stock requests (marketing events and bulk orders)
Conduct AFA analysis, push actions, and coordinate with Distribution centers
Generate weekly and monthly AFA reports; assist with markdown analysis and end‑of‑season sale support
Provide performance recaps and ensure accurate documentation for all initiatives
Qualifications
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Familiarity with SAP and Business analytics reporting systems
Strong communication and coordination abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
High flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and urgent requests
Experience with SAP, Business analytics reporting tools, master data management and purchase order processes
Knowledge of product allocation strategies
Familiarity with Visual Merchandising guidelines
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams (Planning, DC, Marketing)
