We are seeking a motivated and experienced Hourly Sous Chef to support kitchen operations and assist the Executive Chef in delivering high-quality food, consistency, and service. This role is hands‑on and leadership‑focused, ideal for a culinary professional who thrives in a fast‑paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Executive Chef in daily kitchen operations

Supervise and lead BOH staff during service

Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards are met

Assist with scheduling, training, and mentoring kitchen staff

Maintain food safety, sanitation, and health department compliance

Assist with inventory, ordering, and cost control

Step in to lead shifts and manage service execution as needed

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Kitchen Supervisor preferred

Strong leadership and communication skills

Can speak / understand English and Spanish

Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and BOH operations

Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Reliable, organized, and team-oriented
