Responsibilities Kingwood Pines Hospital, a 116-bed facility in the Kingwood community, provides psychiatric and behavioral health services, including intensive outpatient and partial hospital programs.

The Human Resources Assistant reports to the Director of Human Resources and supports HR functions throughout the organization.

Verify all new hires meet required qualifications, including license verification, education, employment history, and successful background checks.

Organize and conduct orientation and onboarding processes for new employees.

Maintain employee files, HRIS, and filing systems, preparing documents for regulatory surveys and personnel actions.

File employee changes and personnel action forms promptly and accurately.

Aid the HR Director with recruitment, scheduling, candidate communication, and pre-employment testing.

Maintain online education and training records and curricula.

Qualifications Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Experience: Two (2) years of HR and/or administrative support in a healthcare setting preferred.

Skills: Excellent organizational, independent work, detail-oriented, interpersonal, confidential sensitivity, communication at all levels, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
