Kingwood Pines Hospital is a 116‑bed facility located in the Kingwood community, 30 miles northeast of Houston Medical Center, providing 24‑hour emergency services and psychiatric & behavioral health services. Responsibilities Ensure that newly hired employees meet all position requirements prior to start date; including validating license, education, employment history, and successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen. Notify HR Director of any missing or incomplete items. Organize and conduct orientation and on‑boarding processes for all newly hired employees. Prepare and maintain employee files, HRIS, and the HR filing systems according to regulatory, facility, UHS, and Labor Law standards; assist with preparation of employee‑related documents for regulatory surveys as required. File all employee changes, Personnel Action Forms, and all other applicable employee related transactions in a timely manner. Assist the Human Resources Director with recruitment and hiring efforts as needed and perform administrative aspects of recruitment and pre‑employment activities, including candidate/new employee communication, scheduling, and testing. Maintain online education and training records and curriculum as required. Qualifications Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience: Two (2) years’ experience performing human resources and/or administrative support related duties in a health care setting preferred. Additional Requirements: Must have excellent organizational skills, be a self‑starter and have the ability to work independently, be detail oriented, excellent interpersonal skills, ability to maintain sensitivity to confidential matters, ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization and proficiency with Microsoft Office Software Suite.
